For ideal results, hair should have a minimum length of 4-5 mm.
How often do I have to get waxed?
On average, every 4-5 weeks.
What is the difference between wax and sugar?
Wax is made with Paraffin, whereas sugar is a natural product.
Wax is HOT, sugar is NOT.
Wax you cannot eat-Sugar you can!
What is the difference between Sugar Strips and Sugar Traditional?
In the Sugar Strip method, the sugar is applied in direction of hair growth and pulled off with a fleece strip, against direction of hair growth.
In a traditional sugar method, the sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and is removed, without the use of a fleece strip, in direction of hair growth (we do not recommend this method in cases involving full length hair).
How painful is waxing/sugaring?
Ride to hell but it’s worth it!
What should be considered before/after waxing/sugaring?
Avoid sunbeds/direct sun, sauna and sports on the day of the treatment.
Which results last longer, wax or sugar?

Try both and then decide. Then you will know what is best for YOU.
Why is sugar more expensive?
Sugar is VEGGIE – a completely natural product. It is made out of sugar, lemon and water. The treatment is more complex and takes more time.
What helps against ingrown hair?
Peeling, peeling and more peeling! And if that doesn’t do the trick, click on Products.
Is the bum crack included in the bikini wax/sugar?
For women, the butt crack is included in the following treatments:
– Bikini Full
– Bikini Landing Strip
– Bikini Triangle
For men, the posterior crease, is calculated according to the price list. The bum fold for men is a separate treatment.
Is the bikini zone included in the ‘legs complete’ treatment?
The bikini zone is not included in the ‘legs complete’ treatment. The bikini zone is calculated according to the current price list.
Can I safely wax/sugar during pregnancy?
Yes, as long as it feels alright.
Under what circumstances should I not wax/sugar?
You should not wax/sugar in cases of skin redness, irritation, injury, rashes and sunburns.
What kind of skin reaction can be expected after a waxing/sugaring?
Skin may show redness for up to several hours after treatment. If you have an ‘event’ (wherein the treated area will be showcased), we recommend that you have the treatment done 1 to 2 days in advance.
I have paid for the treatment in advance, but cannot make it to my appointment. What can I do?
If you have paid for a treatment in advance, please contact the online provider where you made the appointment. We (VR Wax and Sugar GmbH) cannot refund these requests!
